Laminates are very thin porcelain that usually are applied on the front teeth. Dental porcelain laminates are applied in the process without requiring little or no preparation. Porcelain laminates are bonded with special adhesives which gives quite excellent aesthetic results due to good permeability of color. Laminates that produced very thin by using highly sensitive techniques provide excellent compatibility with the teeth and surrounding tissues.

 

 

 

When porcelain laminates are preferred?

• Porcelain laminates is the most aesthetic solutions applied to close the gaps between the teeth.
• Especially if the patient  which were not satisfied with the color of their teeth  and results from the teeth whitening procedure were not enough, porcelain laminate may be preferred.
• Although in the treatments the most accurate one is orthodontic treatment but it is  not preferred by patients because of a lengthy process. In these cases, porcelain laminates are so conservative alternatives treatment to get aesthetic results.
• Porcelain laminates may be preferable for the loss of material due to broken teeth and to correct the color and structure of the corrupt old fillings.
